The Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas board game is an art piece created by J.R. Baldwin. It looks awesome I would buy one if it wasn’t $5,500. There has to be a big enough fan base to support a production version.

Players can splatter paint to help them find their way through an unusual garden.
The game is still in development and no release plans have been announced.
Our goal is to have a near-finished version ready by March of 2009.”

Spore™

Spore™ is finally out. I purchased the game yesterday and played it for several hours. It is awesome. You start off as a little microscopic creature floating around eating. You gain DNA points to get bigger, smarter and add parts. Eventually you evolve out of the water and on to the land. You become allies with other creatures or wipe them off the globe. I am only a few hours in but I know eventually I will be in outer-space taking over other planets. It is a lot like every sims game crammed together into an evolutionary masterpiece. Check it out.
