Everything on Tv is Fake

This is a crazy green screen show reel.
It seems that actors are never where they appear to be.

Weeds

The show Weeds has been on Showtime for over three seasons now but somehow I never watched it. I guess drug humor doesn’t do much for me or I thought the plot was going to be too far fetched. Yesterday I watched nearly the entire second season. It is really good, right up there with Dexter. It is original, raw and funny. I also enjoy that the opening song is preformed by different artists every episode. I can’t wait to watch the third season. I hope its on Netflix instant queue.

Fringe

Hulu

Hulu.com is a online video on demand service from NBC and News Corp. You may have noticed almost all of NBC’s content has been pulled from sites like youtube and is now missing from iTunes.

Today I recieved a private beta login for the site. I’m am pretty impressed by the number of shows that you can watch. Not just new shows but really old ones also. I also see some films that you can watch like “The Jerk”. There is enough content on Hulu to waste a lifetime.

As far as the quality check out this sample:

Letterman may get his writers back

lettermanstrike.jpg
David Letterman owns his own production company as he has for many years. This puts him at quite an advantage when dealing with strikes. He may be able to make a deal with the writer guild allowing his writers to come back at least temporarily. What an advantage over other shows, he has little guy freedom with big guy power.

“In what may be the first break in the Hollywood writers’ strike, David Letterman is pursuing a deal with the Writers Guild of America that would allow his late-night show on CBS to return to the air in early January with the usual complement of material from his writers, even if the strike is still continuing.” -NY Times
