Digital Billboards Hacked (not hacked)
Mar 25th

10 LA billboards were hacked by a known Graffiti artist. The artist “skullphone” is an 18 year old graffiti artist. He was smart enough to mix his ad in with the normal rotation on the digital billboard. This is what we will see more of, digital graffiti.
Update: The billboards were not hacked. Clear Channel made some money for the ads like usual.

Feb 14th

Casulo is a furniture concept. It is an entire room full of furnature that fits into one big box. Check out the video after the break.
“CASULO is a complete set of room furniture which can be set up in less than ten minutes and later disassembled and repacked like a standard Euro pallet of 80 cm by 120 cm. No tools are needed in the process.”
Black Mirror
Jan 27th

“If the Arcade Fire’s Neon Bible wasn’t enough, then you should check out Black Mirror. The new single allows visitor of the site to turn off different audio channels of the song to create their own “mix”. Accompanying the song is a clip directed by Olivier Groulx & Tracy Maurice. The former was responsible for the artwork used on the band’s album “Funeral”.”

Modern Day Mixtape
Dec 4th

I’m sure this doesn’t have quite the warmth as a slow made real live mixtape but the idea is really cool. Make a mix of mp3′s, load them on the tiny usb driving, label the tape insert, and give it away. It is the coolest thing since hi-speed dubbing.
